The amendment has been ruled out of order but I gave a commitment that I was going to deal with the issue of after-care and put it on a statutory basis that a young person in care could have an assessment of his or her need done. I intend to do that and I am working very hard on the amendment. I am disappointed that I do not have it to present today. A good deal of work is going on with the Attorney General and my departmental staff have done a great deal of work on this as well. I hope that if the work can be completed and if I am in a position to bring it into the Bill before the conclusion of the legislation, then I will do so. If not, it will come in shortly into other legislation I am bringing in. I have given a commitment to do it. The work is being done and it is a question of finalising that work. There was a great deal more to it than I had expected.
