Yesterday, I read an interesting newspaper article on the UK’s Liberal Democrats recent conference. When delegates get up to speak, a set of traffic lights appear behind them. If they speak for longer than a minute, it goes red and then after another while the microphone stops. This applies to all delegates from councillors to Nick Clegg.
