Yesterday and today we have had detailed discussions on the structure of the expert advisory body. I am interested to hear more from the witnesses on this, specifically how they would like to see it evolve and be provided for in the legislation. How would they see it becoming more autonomous and independent of the Government? Who do they believe should sit on the expert advisory body? There seem to be quite a number of different views on its structure so I would like the witnesses to be specific with regard to who they would like to see on the group and from what areas the representatives should come. I assume it would not just be from the statutory sector.
