Heads of Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Bill 2013: Discussion (Resumed)
12:25 pm
Mr. Stewart Stevenson:
It is a great privilege to be here. As I would in my home Parliament, I will put on record that I have a registered agricultural holding. It is pretty insubstantial by comparison with many farmers but, nonetheless, I will put it on record as it is an important part of deliberations. I am here as the Scottish Minister who, over a five-year period, was responsible for the issue of climate change in the Scottish Government and took our legislation through Parliament to its completion in 2009. I have provided a written statement that members have seen and I would prefer to proceed on the basis of questions and see how well I am equipped to answer.
