The Minister clarified that the issue under consideration was the sale of Coillte harvesting rights rather than the company's lands. He stated: "a disposal of Coillte’s harvesting rights, which comprise much of the current value in the company, would have major implications for the future viability of the remaining business, particularly given its significant capital requirements".
