There was an inquiry into Mr. Callely, who was a member of the Government party at the time. I have never seen an inquiry set up other than into a member of the current or a former Government. I have never seen an inquiry set up into a member of the Opposition. I understand what Deputy Donnelly is saying, but let us reflect on it. Political circumstances often dictate when a Government must put one of its own out to be examined. I have yet to see it occur in the opposite direction. Deputy Donnelly may say it is counterintuitive but that is what has always happened.
