I welcome Mr. Dermot Nolan, chairman, Mr. Garrett Blaney, commissioner, and Dr. Paul McGowan, director of safety, who are here to explain the role of the CER in regulating the electricity and natural gas sector and to clarify the impact of renewable energy on electricity costs.
