A range of organisations, including Comfort Keepers, received just over €1 million from the HSE in 2007, and that expenditure has climbed to €3.267 million, which is a significant rise. Clearly that organisation is very active in terms of the HSE contracts. Can Ms McGuinness advise how commission is calculated and what amount of commission a private care contractor would expect to receive from a HSE contract?
