To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if he will agree to the temporary warehousing of royalties from 2022 on the activities of a company (details supplied) in an effort to assist the company and the return of workers to the operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A request to defer royalties has been received from the company and is currently under consideration by my Department.
A subsequent decision on the request will made by me as Minister, with the concurrence of the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, in line with the relevant mining lease.
