To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the estimated cost of providing a €100 lump-sum payment for each social welfare and social assistance scheme on 1 November 2023, 1 October 2023 and 1 March 2024 respectively, disaggregated by social welfare payment type, in tabular form. The total estimated cost of providing three once-off €100 bonus payments in October and November 2023, and March 2024 (on the same basis as the Spring Cost of Living Bonus paid in April 2023) is €393m.

The estimated costs per scheme are outlined in the table below.
