909. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the number of persons currently in prison for the offence of handling stolen goods and who are due to be released in either 2025 or 2026, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27926/23]

I am advised by my officials in the Irish Prison Service that on 31 May 2023 there are 10 people in custody whose most serious offence was handling stolen property.

I can further advise that none of these people are due to be released in either 2025 or 2026.
