To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on HSE national funding through the national clinical programme and acute hospitals for four new consultant anaesthesiology posts at a hospital (details supplied) supported by the Saolta Group in April 2022 to allow the recommended on-call rota cover of two consultants and two NCHDs; the reason that the hospital is an outlier and has not been prioritised like similar model 3 hospitals in Sligo and Letterkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
