433. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if he, his Ministers of State and or advisers have ever used private email for any form of official Government use since the formation of the Government; and if so, if he will publish all such emails and corresponding documents immediately. I can confirm that neither Minister of State, Deputy Peter Burke, my Special Adviser, nor I have used private email for any form of official Government use.
Minister of State, Deputy Malcolm Noonan has used his private email on a number of occasions for work purposes. The majority of these concerned emails confirming arrangements for meetings; confirming details for site visits; disseminating information in relation to nature and heritage matters; or issuing press statements. None of these emails concerned Government business.
