Officials from my Department have reviewed the appeal referred to by the Deputy, having regard to the eligibility criteria for the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) scheme. An overage exemption has been approved, due to the exceptional circumstances of the case.

This decision has been communicated to the parents of the child referred to.
