To ask the Minister for Health the number of trust in care investigations initiated by the HSE, or HSE-funded and part-funded agencies, following complaints of abuse by staff of vulnerable adults since inception of the safeguarding policy in 2014; the number of these cases upheld; the number of disciplinary proceedings taken as a result; the results of disciplinary action in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
