To ask the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence to provide the name and position of, and annual salary awarded to, the special advisers to Ministers in his Department; to provide details for requests, if any, for an increase above the special advisers' pay cap as set by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Minister of State with responsibility for Defence, Mr. Paul Kehoe, T.D., has not yet formally appointed Special Advisers but it is expected that he will do so shortly.
