614. To ask the Minister for Health when Sligo Regional Hospital will be up and running as a colonoscopy centre for the national colorectal screening programme as announced in the autumn of 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25257/14]

BowelScreen, the National Bowel Screening Programme, commenced operation in late 2012 for men and women aged 60 to 69 years. Sligo General hospital has been operational as a Screening Colonoscopy Unit for BowelScreen since Spring 2013.
