Question 235: To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if he will provide details on the number and names of all semi-State companies and statutory agencies under the remit of his Department; if he will provide a list of all members of the board of such organisations for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; if he will provide a list of all expenses associated with membership of these boards on an individual basis for the relevant years; if he will provide information relating to the profession or occupation of all such members of the relevant State companies and statutory agencies; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The following State bodies come under the aegis of my Department and, with the exception of InterTrade Ireland, are subject to the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.
Enterprise Ireland

Health and Safety Authority
National Standards Authority of Ireland
InterTrade Ireland
Shannon Development
National Consumer Agency
Competition Authority
Personal Injuries Assessment Board
Science Foundation Ireland
Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority
County and City Enterprise Boards (CEBs)
Labour Relations Commission
In line with the requirements of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies, details of Board members, including remuneration and expenses paid from 2009 onwards, are provided in the annual reports of the agencies, including InterTrade Ireland, and are available on the websites of the respective agencies.
I have referred the question to the agencies for direct reply to the Deputy in respect of any of the information requested that may not be available from their websites.
