While my Department does not run a graduate internship programme it does support and participate in various graduate internship programmes such as the FÁS Work Placement Programme, JobBridge – the National Internship Programme also run by FÁS and the Willing Able and Mentoring (WAM) programme run by the Association for Higher Education Access and Disability (AHEAD). We currently have one individual working in the Department under the FÁS Work Placement Programme and three individuals working under the Jobbridge scheme. One individual recently completed their six month placement on the WAM Programme and my Department is currently making preparations for participation in the 2012 Programme.
