Question 573: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if a protocol exists whereby stroke patients must be taken by ambulance to St Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, County Dublin, if it is the nearest hospital, despite the fact that it has no thrombolysis service and that a 24-hour seven-day thrombolysis service operates in nearby St Vincent's University Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
