Question 164: To ask the Minister for Health and Children in view of the terms of the methadone treatment protocol services published by her Department in 1998, the number of general practitioners from the Kildare-west Wicklow local health office that have undertaken training under the methadone protocol level 1 and 2; the number of applications to provide level 2 general practitioner service in the Kildare-west Wicklow local health office; the outcomes of submitted applications; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
