Question 182: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if a review of the financial assessment of a person (details supplied) in County Cork for eligibility for a full medical card will be undertaken in view of a drop in family income following a social welfare assessment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter it has been referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply to the Deputy.
I wish to advise the Deputy that, due to an intensification of industrial action in the public service by members of IMPACT, the HSE may not be in a position to provide a response to this Parliamentary Question within the normal timeframe.
