Question 473: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí by rank and station attached to the Carlow and Kildare division; if this division includes Baltinglass; if there is an interchange of officers between each area; what constitutes such interchange; if there has been a reduction in the detective numbers within the division; the breakdown of the numbers within the detective unit; the number of armed gardaí road checks within the division in each of the past six months; the number of gardaí and detectives involved in such checks; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
