A total of 57 requests were received by my Department during the six month period from 1 October 2010 to 31 March 2011. As the Deputy will appreciate, I am not in a position to forecast the number that will be received during the remainder of 2011. All freedom of information requests received in my Department are processed by statutorily designated officials in accordance with the Freedom of Information Acts. I have no role in processing requests received.
