The number of active civil proceedings in which the Chief State Solicitor's Office (CSSO) is currently on record is being collated. The CSSO have advised me that there are a large number of files involved that require an individual review of the history of each file. It will, therefore, take some time for the CSSO to pull this information together. I will revert to the Deputy directly with the information requested as soon as it is received in the Department of the Taoiseach.
