The Central Statistics Office does not compile or publish data on the citizenship or nationality of persons convicted of homicide offences in the State.

The CSO receives data on homicide offences via the quarterly PULSE extract from An Garda Síochána and this data does not contain information about the citizenship or nationality of suspected offenders.

The Garda Commissioner is operationally responsible for PULSE data.

The CSO publishes annual estimates of migration in its Population and Migration Estimates publication. The corresponding figures for 2026 will be published in August 2026. Information on the reasons cited by Irish persons for emigration are not collected or published. Furthermore, the CSO does not compile statistics on the factors driving outward migration.
