The Department of the Taoiseach prepares progress reports on the implementation of actions committed to under the Climate Action Plan. The reports give a detailed breakdown of both completed and delayed activity across Departments and Agencies. Once approved by Government, the progress reports and accompanying tables of actions are published online.

All of the actions for which my Department had lead responsibilty in successive Climate Action Plans have been completed. Detail on these actions is publicly available on gov.ie. My Department has no remaining legacy actions awaiting delivery.

My Department continues to prepare progress reports on the remaining high impact legacy actions due from other Departments. A joint Progress Report for Q1 and Q2 2026 has been finalised and will be published on gov.ie shortly.
