297. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if a sectoral economic assessment has been undertaken regarding the growth of vape and smoke retail outlets within Irish town and city centres over the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40873/26]

The retail sector directly employs over 220,000 people and contributes to the economy of every city, town and village in Ireland.
My Department has not carried out a sectoral economic assessment regarding the growth of vape and smoke retail outlets.
