As a key sector of the Irish economy, the Department and Ministers regularly engage with domestic and international firms who operate in the Irish financial services sector.

Ministers and senior officials are classified as Designated Public Officials. Any external persons meeting with Designated Public Officials are notified of their obligation to register their meetings to the Standards in Public Office Commission. These can be found at www.lobbying.ie.

From a review of meetings with the Company which the Deputy has queried where the Savings & Investment Union or the recently proposed Investment Account were part of the discussions, seventeen meetings have been identified. These are as follows:
