My Department is generally not made aware of protected disclosures investigations in its aegis bodies that operate their own protected disclosures policies, i.e. An Garda Síochána, Irish Prison Service, Legal Aid Board, Courts Service, and Fiosrú. While my Department was informed of recommendations in a report relating to the Irish Prison Service in 2022, any recommendations are followed up within the organisation to which they refer.
