219. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport whether a person who previously held an Irish licence but now holds an English licence can swap back to an Irish licence; and if not, the reason. [66833/25]

As Minister of State for International & Road Transport, Logistics, Rail & Ports I wish to advise that following Brexit, an exchange agreement was made between Ireland and the UK, and a UK licence may be exchanged for an Irish licence, where the conditions of the agreement are met.
