I am fully committed to the review of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) (Agriculture) Regulations and updating this legislation. A public consultation was conducted in respect of the EIA (Agriculture) Regulations. A total of 64 submissions were received and reviewed. Submissions were from statutory agencies, NGOs, farming organisations, farmers, and members of the public. All the submissions received through this consultation are available on my Department’s website.
My Department has reviewed the outcome of the public consultation and next steps are being considered.
