The Board of the Adoption Authority of Ireland last met on 28 October 2025. The 7 vacancies for the appointment of a chairperson, deputy chairperson and five ordinary members to the board of the Adoption Authority of Ireland were advertised by Publicjobs/StateBoards on 15 July 2025 and the closing date for receipt of applications was 28 August 2025. Publicjobs/State Boards has now completed its shortlisting process and submitted recommendations to this department for consideration. I expect to make appointments to the Board of the Adoption Authority of Ireland very shortly.
