The University of Limerick, like all higher education institutions, has statutory autonomy in terms of academic affairs and administrative processes. Institutions may determine the assessment criteria for individual programmes and modules, including the weighting assigned to attendance, practical work, continuous assessment and final exams. The department has no role to play in decisions regarding these matters.

Any student experiencing difficulties with regard to their course of study should engage with their higher education provider to address any concerns they may have.
