I propose to take Questions Nos. 1416 and 1417 together.
I propose to take 57901/25 and 57902/25 together.
Teagasc operates as a non-commercial state agency under the remit of my Department. It was established in 1998 under the “Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice) Act”, as the national agency with responsibility for the provision of research, training and advisory services to the agriculture and food industry. Teagasc develops its programmes and activities in conjunction with clients and partners and is overseen by an Authority that is representative of the main stakeholder groups in the agri-food sector.
The questions raised by the Deputy are operational matters for Teagasc and therefore these questions have been referred to the body for direct reply.
