To ask the Minister for Health the number of non-statutory agencies receiving funding to provide health and social care services by name and by category (details supplied) in tabular form; and the amount paid by the State to each of these agencies in each year for the past ten years. The Department of Health does not directly fund any non-statutory agencies. Under Section 38 and Section 39 of the 1970 Health Act funding is provided by the Health Service Executive. I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to you directly in relation to this matter.
