To ask the Taoiseach if his attention has been drawn to the development of a database by Ordnance Survey Ireland; if he and or his predecessors and officials were consulted on the development and the sanctioning of same; and if he has been contacted by the Data Protection Commissioner regarding the use of this database (details supplied). The Ordnance Survey Ireland is a body under the aegis of the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage and I have asked the Minister to respond directly to the Deputy on the matter raised in her question.
