To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if a contract for works on Leighlinbridge Garda station has been awarded by the Office of Public Works; if a date for when the rural station in County Carlow will be reopened is available; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have requested information from An Garda Síochána in order to respond to the Deputy's query, however, the information was not available in time. I will write to the Deputy again once the information is received from the Garda Authorities.
