To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if a valid work permit application has been received in respect of a critical skills visa for a person (details supplied); the timeline for the processing of this application; and when the applicant company will be informed of the outcome. The Employment Permits Section of my Department inform me that a Standard application for a Critical Skills Employment Permit was received on the 2September in respect the person referenced in the Deputy’s question.
Applications for employment permits are dealt with in date order, as Employment Permits Section are currently processing Standard applications received on 19 July 2021 this application should be considered within the next six weeks.
The company will be notified of the outcome regarding the Critical Skills Employment Permit application once a decision has been made.
