547. To ask the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) was refused a medical card; if their application will be re-examined for a medical card to issue given the deteriorating nature of their condition; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53965/21]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
