The multi-annual capital investment ceilings by Ministerial Vote Group for the period 2019 to 2022 were published in the Revised Estimates for Public Services 2019 and are set out below. These include provision for the €0.7 billion increase in capital expenditure provided for in the National Development Plan and referenced in the recently published Summer Economic Statement (SES).

In the SES an expenditure reserve of up to €0.2 billion is being established in 2020 to accommodate funding requirements for the National Broadband Plan and the National Children’s Hospital.
