I wish to advise that my Department has no record of receiving an application for capital funding at the school referred to by the Deputy.

It is open to the school authorities to make an application for additional accommodation through the 'Additional School Accommodation' (ASA) scheme where an accommodation deficit is identified.

I also wish to advise the Deputy that the Summer Works Scheme (SWS) is currently open for applications and will remain open until 30 June 2019. The scheme is designed to allow School Authorities, on a devolved funding basis, carry out necessary improvement and refurbishment works to existing school facilities. Full details on the types of refurbishment works that schools may apply for under SWS is available on my Department's website .
