235. To ask the Minister for Finance the amount of interest payments paid to corporate taxpayers in respect of overpaid corporate tax in each of the years 2008 to 2017. [1614/18]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 234 and 235 together.

I am informed by Revenue that the gross and net Corporation Tax receipts for the years 2008 to 2017 are shown in the following table. Figures for 2017 are provisional and likely to be updated on publication of Revenue’s Annual Report for the year 2017. These figures can also be accessed on the Revenue website atfor recent years and also at for earlier years.
