69. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht her views on the lack of engagement of the owner of the site on which the Moore Street national monument is located with a group (details supplied). [47916/17]

The national monument at Nos. 14-17 Moore Street is in the ownership of the State.

The report of the group referred to, which was published in March 2017, refers to discussions with the owners of the adjoining site indicating that they were prepared to consider alternative options for certain aspects of the site through open dialogue.

As recommended by the report, I have in the meantime set up the Moore Street Advisory Group whose task includes engagement with relevant stakeholders, including developer interests, in relation to the report recommendations.

The detailed arrangements for engagement between various individual stakeholders and the group are a matter to be decided upon by the parties on a case by case basis. It is too early at this stage to take any view on the extent or value of any such engagements. I would encourage all stakeholders to engage with this Group.
