The person named submitted an online application for the Animal Welfare, Safety and Nutrient Storage Scheme under TAMS II. Following a pre approval inspection it was established that the investment items applied for were installed prior to approval issuing from the Department. This is in contravention of the Terms and Conditions of the TAMS II Measures which state specifically that no grant aid will be paid for works commenced or equipment purchased before written approval has been conveyed to an applicant. The application for grant aid has been rejected. An appeal has been received from the applicant which is currently being examined.
