To ask the Minister for Health when the criteria for officers was changed in the past few months to the lower qualification of emergency medical technician rather than the previous paramedic qualification; if this was done to facilitate existing officers from the national control centre in Tallaght in County Dublin transferring to operational posts across the National Ambulance Service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
