I propose to take Questions Nos. 133 to 135, inclusive, together.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, the information sought by the Deputy is based on an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015.

The information is set out in the following table.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 28 persons serving a sentence of less than three months, of this 3 persons were aged 18 to 20 years and 9 were aged 21 to 25 years.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 130 persons serving a sentence of less than six months, of this 14 persons were aged 18 to 20 years and 38 were aged 21 to 25 years.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 403 persons serving a sentence of less than 12 months, of this 52 persons were aged 18 to 20 years and 115 were aged 21 to 25 years.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 823 persons serving a sentence of less than 24 months, of this 97 persons were aged 18 to 20 years and 209 were aged 21 to 25 years.

Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 2,630 persons serving a sentence of less than ten years, of this 159 persons were aged 18 to 20 years and 581 were aged 21 to 25 years.

I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that it conducts an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population on the last day of each month. Accordingly, an analysis of the snapshot of the prison population was conducted on the 30th April, 2015 shows there was a total of 614 persons serving a sentence of more than ten years, of this 346 were serving a life sentence and 268 were serving a sentence of more than ten years.

Of the 614, 2 were aged 18 to 20 years and 30 were aged 21 to 25 years.
