I refer to the reply to Question No. 130 of 26 June 2014. The position is unchanged.

478. To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the amount of funding his Department provides for library services for persons with a visual impairment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29572/14]

My Department does not provide any funding specifically for library services for persons with a visual impairment as my Department does not manage any library services with the one exception of the library of the Geological Survey of Ireland (G.S.I.). The G.S.I. Library is a small specialised library and currently does not facilitate those with a visual impairment.
