677. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if it is possible to amend the route of bus No. 66 to pass through Green Lane, Leixlip in the morning to collect school-going children on their way to school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6764/14]

The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority and the relevant transport provider and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.

To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will give consideration to the provision of a direct bus service between areas (details supplied) and Beaumont Hospital as currently access is very difficult for those who have to depend on public transport; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
