Question 263: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the additional space per hospital ward and theatre that has been put in place at University College Hospital Galway since it has been designated as a centre of excellence; if she or the Health Service Executive west has made provision for the recruitment of additional medical and nursing staff to cater for the extra work load in providing specialist cover; the additional funding that has been provided for the delivery of extra services at UCHG as it is now a designated centre of excellence; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
